Throughout his career Mr. Shaw has built, purchased and operated over 36 medical waste disposal plants across the USA and testified twice to US Congress on regulated medical waste issues.

Mr. Shaw started working in the environmental industry in 1973 for Browning Ferris Industries (BFI).  He started as an entry-level employee and climbed the ladder to become one of 20 corporate officers for BFI, a $6 Billion dollar international environmental company headquartered in Houston, TX.

While at BFI he built the largest Regulated Medical Waste Company in the world, BFI Medical Waste Systems with over 2000 employees working out of 130 operating locations.

Mr. Shaw has had multiple senior leadership positions in solid waste and regulated medical waste throughout his career.
